Heartland Communities owns and operates manufactured home communities across America’s heartland. We buy communities that have been under-cared-for, put money into the things residents see and use, and plan to keep them as long-term communities.
We’re a family-style company. The people who make decisions about a community have been to it. Our community managers and maintenance teams live locally, and home sales are handled by our own licensed staff.

Work with us
We hire people who like fixing things and talking to neighbors. Most of our roles are in the communities, not a corporate office.
Community manager
Runs the office, knows every resident, handles rent, leasing and home sales. Full time, on site.
Maintenance technician
Water, roads, lighting, home set-up and turnover. Tools provided, and a community that notices your work.
Approved vendors
Home refurb projects, larger improvement projects, maintenance contracts and more. Tell us your trade and the communities you can reach.
Seasonal and part time
Grounds, snow, summer projects. Ask the office in your community.
Tell us which community and what you’re good at. A résumé helps but isn’t required.
